Emergency personnel airlifted a woman in her 70s from the Diamond Head crater trail following a medical emergency.
According to a witness at the scene, the woman collapsed on the trail at around 9:40 a.m.

First responders coordinated an airlift to transport her safely off the crater trail.

Once on the ground, Emergency Medical Services took over her care.
Officials have not yet provided an update on the woman’s condition.
