The Kaneohe-born singer and actress joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about her one-night-only show, “Tropical Nights Waikiki,” which runs Sunday, Sept. 6. The genre-spanning performance features a live band, Tahitian and hula dancers, and original music.

“This show is an entirely new storyline about a character named Tiare who goes on a journey to find herself, her voice, and discovers self-love,” Brooke said, adding that the production is designed to inspire audiences to express themselves creatively.

The production was co-created by Brooke and her choreographer and show director, Kuupua (Kristen) Enomoto. The performance blends unique genres like exotica, bossa nova, jazz, and retro soul.
