Two workers injured in downed cable incident in Kailua
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Emergency Medical Services co-responded to two workers who were injured when a cable hit them while on the roadway in Kailua.

Honolulu EMS said the incident took place on Kalanianole Highway and Auloa Rd around 7:15 a.m.
Witnesses told HNN that the cable was hanging low near Castle Junction when a pickup truck with a rack snagged it, injuring the workers.

EMS treated and transported a 35-year-old man in serious condition and a 20-year-old man in stable condition to an emergency room for further treatment.
