Suspect sought after Kalihi vehicle theft ends in crash
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police are searching for a suspect accused of stealing a vehicle in Kalihi.

According to police, a man discovered the suspect in his vehicle at about 6 a.m. Friday.
Police said when the victim confronted him, the suspect threatened him with a knife, and drove away in the vehicle.

No one was hurt.
A short time later, police responded to a crash near the scene and determined the vehicle involved was stolen.

Witnesses described the suspect as a 5’4” and 160 pounds with a thin build.
