HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Girl Scouts of Hawaii, in partnership with American Savings Bank (ASB), will bring cookies to communities affected by the March Kona low storms.

Impacted residents are encouraged to pick up a free box at several ASB branches in Wahiawa, Haleiwa, Laie, and Waianae on July 23 and July 25.

The distributions are part of the Girl Scouts of Hawaii’s annual “Gift of Caring” initiative.

Earlier this year, customers across the state purchased boxes for Girl Scouts to donate to families and individuals facing difficult circumstances.

Thursday, July 23

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday, July 25

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The distributions continue Girl Scouts of Hawaii’s 2026 Cookie Season giving efforts.

In May, the organization donated nearly 2,000 boxes of cookies to USO Hawaii. Local Girl Scouts and their families loaded cases of cookies onto USO trucks and delivered them to crew members aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Harriet Lane. Additional boxes were distributed to other service members.
