Florida woman pulled from waters off West Maui
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 27-year-old Florida woman was pulled from the waters on West Maui near Nakalele Point Wednesday.

At around 12:40 p.m., it was reported to first responders that a woman had fallen 10 feet into the water near Nakalele Point and was unable to exit the water.
The Maui Fire Department said when they arrived, the woman was floating face down in the water, about 40 yards from shore.

Firefighters aboard MFD’s Air 1 took the unresponsive woman from the water and airlifted her to the road, where crews continued CPR.
Fire officials said after the woman regained a pulse, she was taken to the Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition for further treatment.
