HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A high surf advisory has been issued for all south-facing shores of the Hawaiian islands.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu said the advisory will be in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Waves of 7 to 10 feet will be possible.
The high surf will make swimming dangerous and difficult due to strong breaking waves and currents.
