HPD shuts down illegal gambling operation in Waipahu
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – On Thursday, around 4:30 p.m., the Honolulu Police Department executed a search warrant on an illegal gambling game room in Waipahu.

More than $6,000 in cash and 17 gaming machines were seized from the location on Awanei Street and submitted into evidence.
“These enforcement operations are focused on identifying and shutting down illegal gambling establishments, holding those responsible accountable, and helping ensure our communities remain safe,” said Major Jerome Pacarro of the Narcotics/Vice Division.
