Honolulu seeks public input on proposed rules for spay-and-neuter program
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The city is asking for public input on to establish and operate a public canine and feline spay-and-neuter program.

The City and County of Honolulu will be holding an in-person hearing Thursday, July 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Kapalama Hale, 925 Dillingham Blvd.
“We cannot share these vital new rules without the voices of our residents – from pet owners and animal welfare advocates to neighborhood leaders – to help us build a sustainable, effective spay and neuter program,” said Department of Customer Services Director Kim Hashiro.

Residents can testify in person at the hearing or submit a written testimony by email or mail.
