Woman arrested in Zablan Beach stabbing released, no charges filed
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A woman arrested in connection with a stabbing at Zablan Beach in Nanakuli has been released.

Honolulu police said the 36-year-old was arrested Saturday after three women were injured during an altercation at the beach.
Investigators said two women, ages 32 and 22, suffered stab wounds and were taken to the hospital. A third 22-year-old woman also suffered a stab wound and was transported for treatment.

Police initially arrested the suspect on suspicion of first-degree attempted murder after she fled the scene.
On Monday, the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney declined to file charges, citing self-defense issues.

HPD said the woman was released from custody.
