17-year-old critically hurt in McCully hit-and-run
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 17-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in McCully.

Honolulu police said it happened around 10:19 p.m. on South King Street.
Investigators said the teen was riding an electric motorcycle westbound when a woman turning left into the driveway of 2646 S. King St. struck him.
Police said the driver got out briefly to check on the teen, then left without rendering aid or providing information.
The 17-year-old was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

The vehicle involved was later found parked and unattended, but the driver has not been identified.
Police said it is unknown whether speed, drugs or alcohol were factors.
