Police open investigation following Mokuleia attempted robbery
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are investigating an attempted robbery in the Mokuleia.

Officers responded to the incident at about 9 p.m.
Police said the victim was outside when he was approached by two men. Investigators said one suspect assaulted the victim while the other brandished a handgun. The suspects attempted to steal the victim’s property but fled before officers arrived.
The victim suffered a minor injury and declined medical treatment.
Police described one suspect as a man about 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds with a stocky build, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

The second suspect is described as a man about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was also last seen wearing dark clothing.

The investigation is ongoing.
