Police seek suspect in Kalihi stabbing
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department is searching for the suspect accused of critically stabbing a man in Kalihi.

First responders were alerted to the incident at around 6:20 p.m. near Bannister Street.
According to police, a 24-year-old man and the suspect were involved in an argument, which then escalated after the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim and fled the scene.

Police describe the male suspect as about 6 feet tall, of a medium build, with black hair and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a yellow sweater.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services administered advanced life-saving treatment and took the victim to the hospital in critical condition for further treatment.

HPD has opened an attempted murder investigation.
