Nordstrom Rack in Waikiki to close after 10 years
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – After 10 years, Waikiki’s Nordstrom Rack on Kuhio Avenue will be permanently closing July 27.

The company said 34 employees are affected.
Under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, employers are required to notify employees of potential mass layoffs or closures.
Nordstrom filed the WARN notice in May and said it has “given appropriate notice to affected employees.”

The company said that some workers will be offered positions at other locations, but it’s unclear how many will receive an offer.
