The Honolulu Prosecutor’s Office said an Oahu grand jury indicted Musiq Tago, 19, and TJ Dison Tatashy, 28, in connection with the June 14 shooting.

Prosecutors said Tago was indicted on one count of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree attempted murder and multiple firearm-related offenses, including allegations involving the use of a semiautomatic “ghost gun.”

Tatashy was indicted on one count of second-degree attempted murder and multiple related firearm offenses.

“Ghost guns have no place in our community,” Prosecuting Attorney Steve Alm said. “When individuals are accused of using ghost guns in acts of violence, our office will fully enforce the law as the Legislature intended.”

If convicted, Tago faces a maximum sentence of life without the possibility of parole for the first-degree attempted murder charge. Prosecutors said he would also face a mandatory minimum prison term of 25 years if convicted of using a semiautomatic firearm.

Prosecutors said Tatashy was charged as a repeat offender and, if convicted and sentenced as such, could face life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
