HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii’s top young women are preparing to compete for statewide titles and scholarship opportunities this week.

The Miss Hawaii Organization will host its 2026 Miss Hawaii’s Teen and Miss Hawaii competitions, featuring contestants from across the islands competing in areas that highlight leadership, talent, communication skills, and community involvement.

The organization is part of the Miss America Opportunities program, which provides scholarships to young women pursuing higher education.

The winners of the Miss Hawaii’s Teen 2026 and Miss Hawaii 2026 titles will represent Hawaii at the national Miss America’s Teen and Miss America competitions.

“This week represents more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of who we are and what Miss Hawai‘i represents,” said Blaine Dutro, executive director of the Miss Hawaii Organization. “These young women are setting the stage for the next generation of role models and leaders. We are proud to showcase their achievements, talents, and aloha spirit.”

According to organizers, the competition aims to empower young women through scholarship opportunities, leadership development, and community service.
