The footage comes from Cafe Vintage on Waimanu Street and shows the alleged person in the back area of their cafe, where newly arrived items are stored, at around 5:45 p.m.
Cafe owners Alex and Jennifer Viriato said a woman spent over an hour inside while the cafe was busy and left through a different garage door with multiple items.
Once they realized the garage door was left open, they noticed speakers, jewelry and camera equipment were missing.
“You feel violated to have something that you put so much love and effort into, and someone just comes in and like takes it,” Alex said.

Jennifer added, “Every business, big, small, in between, knows that loss prevention is really tricky. There are so many variables and so many different ways that people can try to take advantage of the situation.”
The owners ask that if anyone sees the lost property from the cafe not buy it and report it to the Honolulu Police Department.
Police said the investigation is active and ongoing. No further details were released.
