Police investigate attempted murder in Kalihi
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man was critically injured in an apparent assault in Kalihi Wednesday, prompting a police investigation.

First responders were called to an apartment building on Nalanui Street just before 4:30 p.m.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said a man in his 60s was apparently assaulted, and medics administered advanced life-support treatment before taking the man to the hospital in critical condition.
The Honolulu Police Department said detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigations Division are continuing the investigation.
