Police arrest woman following knife threat at Kakaako apartment building
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A woman was arrested after police say she threatened and attempted to stab a resident manager at a Kakaako apartment building.

According to the Honolulu Police Department, officers responded to a residential building on Kinau Street at about 8:05 a.m.
Investigators said a 57-year-old woman approached a 72-year-old resident manager while armed with a knife.

Police said the woman allegedly threatened to kill the victim and attempted to stab him multiple times.
The victim was able to escape and was not injured.
Officers located the suspect a short distance away and arrested her on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.
