Tourist dies after apparent drowning in Kauai beach
KILAUEA (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man visiting Kauai from Oklahoma was pronounced dead Wednesday after bystanders pulled him from the ocean.

Authorities responded to Moloa’a Beach at about 1:45 p.m. after reports of a swimmer in distress.
Bystanders were performing CPR. Medics took over care and performed lifesaving efforts.

The 30-year-old man was transported to Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
