{"id":825,"date":"2026-06-01T07:34:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T07:34:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hawaiimovinginsider.com\/?p=825"},"modified":"2026-06-01T07:34:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T07:34:11","slug":"repaving-work-to-resume-on-moanalua-fwy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hawaiimovinginsider.com\/?p=825","title":{"rendered":"Repaving work to resume on Moanalua Fwy."},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<section>\n<p>HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) &#8211; Drivers should expect overnight delays on the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway starting Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiimovinginsider.com\/?p=823\">Kilauea precursory activity continues ahead of episode 48<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Hawaii Department of Transportation said the work is resuming after a two-month pause.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the lanes will be closed nightly between the Moanalua Gardens and the Halawa Interchange from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday through Friday.<\/p>\n<p>HDOT said crews will repave the three left lanes of the freeway and will switch to repaving the three right lanes towards the H-3 Freeway overpass.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The department said additional work for the project includes:<\/p>\n<p>Special duty police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control and safety procedures.
