Velocities are projected to reach optimum levels on multiple stations at around 3 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Kilauea Message 2026-05-31 19:41:29 HST. Forecast window based on seismic velocity analysis runs from about 8 pm HST tonight to later tomorrow, June 1. Velocities are projected to reach optimum levels on multiple stations around 3 am HST, early tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 USGS Volcanoes\ud83c\udf0b (@USGSVolcanoes) June 1, 2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>USGS said sluggish lava overflows began at the south vent shortly before 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
