HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department is searching for a missing woman who suffers from the onset of Dementia. <\/p>\n

Carmelita Vanzandt-Heintz, 72, was last seen in the area of North Kuakini Street in Nuuanu on Monday, at about 7:50 p.m. <\/p>\n

Carmelita is familiar with the Kalihi and Chinatown areas, and her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.<\/p>\n

Police describe Carmelita as 5\u2032, 100 Ibs, with silver hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, white and black checkered shorts, and white sandals.<\/p>\n

Her family and police are asking anyone who sees her or knows where she may be to contact the police.<\/p>\n
