HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 12-inch water main break has prompted lane closures in the Ala Moana area Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The break was first reported at around 4:15 a.m. near the Federal Building on Ala Moana Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The Board of Water Supply closed two eastbound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard between Richards and Punchbowl streets while crews repair the break.<\/p>\n

As of 2 p.m., the utility said no customers are currently affected due to a bypass, but that could change as repairs progress. <\/p>\n
