HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An interactive butterfly exhibit has returned to the Pearlridge Center and is open for visitors. <\/p>\n

The \u2018Sharing The Butterfly Experience\u2019 exhibit will offer visitors a chance to interact with butterflies inside a butterfly house at Mauka Center Court until August 2. <\/p>\n

\u201cSharing The Butterfly Experience\u201d is making a comeback due to its overwhelming popularity. This time, it features a pop-up butterfly house showcasing locally raised live monarch butterflies. <\/p>\n

Visitors are invited to step into the garden, feed butterflies, and immerse themselves in the life stages of these insects through guided tours.<\/p>\n

Admission to the butterfly exhibit is priced at $10.50 per person. Children under two years old can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Additionally, military families can enjoy a $1 discount on Sundays.<\/p>\n

The exhibit will be open in Mauka Center Court until August 2, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

Pearlridge Center is also partnering with Ground Transport Inc. and the Hawaii Department of Education to \u201cstuff the bus\u201d with new school supplies and footwear for local students who are homeless or living in unstable housing conditions. <\/p>\n

The community is asked to donate new notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks, slippers, or other footwear. Donations will be taken now through Sunday, July 19, during center hours.<\/p>\n

Ground Transport Inc. will place a full-size yellow school bus in the parking lot outside of the Pearlridge Mauka Food Court entrance to raise awareness for the supply drive. <\/p>\n
