HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A longtime Aiea gas station has permanently closed after serving the community for about 60 years.<\/p>\n

Island Energy Services said Pearlridge Texaco, located on Kamehameha Highway across from Pearlridge Center, closed Tuesday after its lease expired.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply grateful to the Pearlridge Texaco team, our loyal customers, and the surrounding Aiea community for their support over the years,\u201d said IES President and CEO Jon Mauer. \u201cPearlridge Texaco has been more than a service station for many customers. It has been part of their daily routines and memories.\u201d<\/p>\n
