HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 24-year-old man has been indicted on multiple charges related to a fatal traffic collision in Kailua-Kona on May 30. <\/p>\n

Janne Labin of Ocean View is charged with Manslaughter, Negligent Homicide in the Frist Degree, and Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of an Intoxicant.<\/p>\n

He was served with the Kona Grand Jury indictment during his arrest Wednesday. At the time he was out on a $2,500 bond posted after his initial arrest the day of the collision. <\/p>\n

The Hawaii Police Department says Labin\u2019s Toyota Tacoma veered off the Old Kona Airport roadway and struck a male pedestrian who was walking on the unpaved portion of the runway. The pedestrian was airlifted to Oahu for treatment and died from his injuries on June 4. <\/p>\n
