(Gray News) \u2014 Daveigh Chase, the actress who voiced Lilo in the beloved 2002 Disney film \u201cLilo & Stitch,\u201d has died. She was 35.<\/p>\n

Her boyfriend confirmed her death to TMZ.<\/p>\n

Chase died from complications of meningitis.<\/p>\n

On a recent GoFundMe page, her boyfriend wrote, \u201cDaveigh was diagnosed with meningitis and several serious blood infections. Her condition has become critical, and the doctors have told me she may not have much time left.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chase continued to voice Lilo in the Disney Channel series \u201cLilo & Stitch\u201d that followed the film\u2019s success. The show ran from 2003 to 2006 and had 67 episodes.<\/p>\n

Chase was also known for her role as Samara Morgan in the 2002 horror film \u201cThe Ring.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to her IMDb page, Chase also appeared in the 2001 film \u201cDonnie Darko\u201d and had roles in single episodes of hit shows like \u201cER,\u201d \u201cCharmed\u201d and \u201cSabrina the Teenage Witch.\u201d<\/p>\n
