No tsunami expected after magnitude 4.6 quake off Hawaii Island
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – No tsunami is expected following an earthquake off Hawaiʻi Island Tuesday evening.

The U.S. Geological Survey lists the earthquake as magnitude 4.6, while the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center lists magnitude 4.3.
The earthquake originated just before 6 p.m. off the Kona coast with coordinates near 19.6°N, 156.0°W.
