HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Banana Ball will make its debut in the islands in 2027 with two games at the University of Hawaiʻi’s Les Murakami Stadium, officials said.

Honolulu was revealed as a host city for the 2027 tour following the live selection show broadcast on ESPN2, officials said.
The Party Animals and Loco Beach Coconuts will play a two-game series at Les Murakami Stadium on April 30 and May 1.
Local Coconuts connections
The series includes local connections, headlined by Coconuts coach: Maui native and two-time World Series champion Shane Victorino.
Former Rainbow Warrior pitcher Andy Archer is a member of the Coconuts. The games mark a return to Les Murakami Stadium for Archer, who suited up for the ‘Bows in 2022.
Tickets available by lottery
Tickets are sold and distributed via a ticket lottery at BananaBall.com, officials said. The Lottery List opened following the selection show and will remain open until Oct. 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, according to the announcement.
Les Murakami Stadium seats 4,312 and is named for the former UH baseball coach who led the Rainbow Warriors program for 30 seasons, officials said.
Nonprofit helped bring event to islands
Kaupapa Inc., a Maui-based nonprofit, helped bring Banana Ball to the islands in partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi, officials said.

The nonprofit focuses on Native Hawaiian sustainability, community resilience, and sports and regenerative tourism partnerships and worked with state agencies, according to the announcement.
“Banana Ball is really about family fun, and bringing people together, and those are values we live by every day,” said Lahela Aiwohi, interim lead for Kaupapa. “Hosting these games at Les Murakami Stadium gives our keiki and ʻohana across Hawaiʻi the chance to experience something truly special. And having Shane, a good friend and Maui native, bring his team home to play in front of his own people makes it even sweeter. We can’t wait to welcome the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Party Animals to Hawai’i.”
How to get tickets
Tickets are available only through the official ticket lottery list at BananaBall.com, which will remain open until Oct. 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET (5:59 p.m. HST).
Joining the list does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase tickets; a random drawing will be held before the event, and fans who are drawn will be contacted directly with next steps. When a fan joins the list does not affect their chances.
Standard tickets start at $35, with Meet and Greet tickets starting at $125 — with no hidden fees and no tax. Banana Ball sells tickets only through its official lottery at BananaBall.com.
Tickets offered on third-party resale sites or social media are often fraudulent and may not be accepted, and Banana Ball staff, players, and coaches will never sell tickets through social media, the organization said.
