The Plaza at Pearl City unveiled a Wall of Honor featuring photos of 22 veteran residents currently living at the community and their military ranks.
“I want to celebrate the service and all the service people,” said Pvt. 1st Class Jack Isa (retired), U.S. Army, one of The Plaza’s veteran residents. “That’s what I’m happy about.”
The ceremony featured speeches from representatives of The American Legion — the nation’s largest veterans service organization — and musical performances by the Liberty Belles.

“I just want to thank The Plaza at Pearl City for having this day to honor the veterans and having the unveiling of the wall,” said Isa’s niece, Mittsie Isa. “We’re so grateful for everyone here taking care of my uncle.”
This marks the fifth Wall of Honor installation across The Plaza’s six locations on Oahu, sponsored by The American Legion Post 1.
