Falsetto contest winner crowned on Maui
KAHULUI (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Richard Hoopii Leo Kiekie Falsetto Contest took place over the weekend on Maui.

A Pukalani man won this year’s competition on the Valley Isle.
Kepa Revelle-Aikala dedicated his performance to his fiancé.
He also took home the olelo Hawaii award for his rendition of the Hawaiian classic, “Kowali.”
Revelle-Aikala works as a Hawaiian Language Communications Specialist for the Maui County Office of Council Services.
