Firefighters extricate driver from car dangling over water in Hawaii Kai
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A driver had to be rescued after she drove off the road near the Cosctco in Hawaii Kai around noon on Wednesday.

According to witnesses at the scene, a white sedan was suspended vertically at the edge of the nearby water, with the nose of the car submerged.
The Honolulu Fire Department extricated her from the car and handed off care to EMS shortly after noon.

One witness told HNN that the driver accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brakes.
