First Alert Forecast: Heavy rain heading in, flooding possible from Wednesday through Friday

Moisture from the remnants of Tropical Depression Norbert has the potential to bring heavy rain, isolated thunderstorms and high humidity from late Wednesday night through Friday morning, though wind and surf will not pose any threat as trades strengthen to moderate to fresh levels. Drier air will move back in this weekend as trades continue.

A series of long-period S to SSW swells are expected to arrive tonight through the weekend. A larger near advisory level south swell is due on Friday. East shores will rise along with the strengthening trade winds from Wednesday through the weekend.
