While crews work to restore power, residents of the Waiakea Villas are still in the dark almost two weeks after the storm hit.
Many residents of the Waiakea Villas are kupuna and veterans, who require extra care.

The Salvation Army is providing daily meals to 220 residents for up to seven days, or until power is restored.
Island-wide, the organization has served more than 5,000 meals and food boxes to residents in need since Hurricane Lala hit in mid-August.
