Emergency Medical Services responded to Akoki St. and Pakaiea St. around 7:41 p.m. to two unhelmeted patients packed on one e-bike that lost control and hit the roadway.

EMS said they treated a 6-year-old boy for a serious head injury and the second patient for an arm injury.
