The Oahu Department of Emergency Management said TheBus service will resume at 8 a.m.

Officials warn it could take two hours or more for service to fully resume as crews work toward operating the full Sunday schedule.

Some trips may also be missed throughout the day due to ongoing weather conditions and workforce availability.

Skyline and TheHandi-Van will operate their regular service Sunday, but riders should allow extra travel time for possible weather- and safety-related delays.

TheBus suspended service Saturday night as high winds and heavy rain from Lala moved across Oahu. Routes scheduled to depart at 8:31 p.m. or later were suspended systemwide, while trips that began at 8:30 p.m. or earlier were allowed to continue to their scheduled endpoints.
