Suspect arrested in fatal Keeaumoku Street stabbing

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A murder investigation has been initiated by the Honolulu Police Department following a fatal stabbing on Keeaumoku Street.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to a patient who suffered an apparent critical stab wound and administered advanced life-saving treatment on Thursday.

EMS said they responded to Kapiolani Boulevard and Keeaumoku Street, at 7:11 a.m.

Officials said they treated a man in his 50s or 60s and rushed him to an emergency room where he was later pronounced deceased.

A 42-year-old man was located nearby and arrested for murder in the second degree.
