HFD extinguishes 2-story house fire in Kaimuki
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Fire Department extinguished a two-story house fire in Kaimuki Wednesday.

First responders were alerted to the fire at around 4:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Iwi Way.
Firefighters arrived on scene at around 4:40 p.m. and saw smoke emanating from the front door.

Fire crews began an offensive attack and searched the home to confirm no one was inside.

HFD said the fire was fully extinguished nine minutes later.
An investigation into the cause and damages to the home is underway.
