Honolulu police investigate Kona Street shooting
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are investigating a shooting on Kona Street early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the area fronting 1224 Kona Street shortly after 3 a.m.
Police said a fight broke out at the location, and a 45-year-old man was shot after intervening.

He was taken to a hospital; his condition was not immediately released.
The suspect, described only as an adult man, fled the area.
