64-year-old man seriously injured in Kapahulu hit-and-run
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a pedestrian in Kapahulu.

Police said the crash happened Friday around 7:45 p.m. on Kaunaoa Street.
Investigators said an unidentified driver was traveling south on Campbell Avenue, turned right onto Kaunaoa Street and struck a 64-year-old man who was walking outside an unmarked crosswalk.
The driver continued west on Kaunaoa Street without stopping to render aid or provide information.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Police said it is unknown whether speed, drugs or alcohol were factors.
