Voter Service Centers to open on Oahu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Voter Service Centers (VSCs) on Oahu for the 2026 primary election will open next week.

The Honolulu Elections Division said the VSCs will open Monday, July 27, through Election Day, Aug. 8.

Full-time voter centers will be open at Honolulu Hale Courtyard and Kapolei Hale conference rooms A-C from Monday through Saturday at 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

They’ll be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on primary election day.

Elections officials said there will also be pop-up voter centers that will open from Aug. 3 to 7 at Kaneohe and Wahiawa District Parks.

The pop-up locations will be closed on Election Day.

“With Voter Service Centers open well before Election Day, voters do not need to wait until the last day,” said Honolulu Acting City Clerk Chadd Kadota. “Voting early often means shorter wait times and gives voters more flexibility to participate at a time that is convenient for them.”

Voters’ ballots have already been mailed out, and ballots must be received by 7 p.m. Aug. 8 to be counted.
