Journey adds third, final Honolulu show amid ‘unprecedented’ demand

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Journey has added a third and final Honolulu show to its farewell run in Hawaii, giving fans an extra chance to see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band before it closes out its last-ever performances in the islands.

Promoter Rick Bartalini Presents said the new concert, set for Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena, was added because of “unprecedented” demand.

The additional date joins previously announced shows on Sunday, Sept. 6, and Tuesday, Sept. 8, with the Sept. 8 concert billed as Journey’s final Hawaii performance.

A Hawaii-only presale for the newly added Sept. 5 show begins Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m. HST and runs through Friday, July 31 at 9 a.m. HST, with tickets sold through Ticketmaster, organizers said. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public and at the Blaisdell box office Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. HST.

Organizers urged fans to buy only through Ticketmaster and to avoid resale sites, warning that speculative and inflated listings can appear before tickets are officially available.

The concerts are part of Journey’s Final Frontier Tour, described as the band’s final tour. The group’s catalog includes hits such as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” “Wheel in the Sky” and “Lights.”

The promoter also said $1 from every ticket sold will support the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement’s flood recovery efforts tied to recent Kona Low storms.
