Pfendler delivered her boat, Lily, to Honolulu Harbor, where it was loaded onto Pasha Hawaii’s MV Jean Anne for transport to San Diego. The company also sponsored the shipment of her trailer to Hawaii before the journey began.

“I am so grateful for the generous support from the very beginning,” Pfendler said. “Pasha Hawaii was a huge piece of me getting to the starting line.”

Pfendler completed her solo row from Monterey to Honolulu on July 3, covering more than 2,400 miles across the Pacific in 43 days. Her crossing broke the previous women’s record of 86 days and surpassed the men’s record of 52 days.

“It was such an honor and privilege to meet and congratulate Kelsey in person,” said Pasha Hawaii President and CEO George Pasha IV. “She is an inspiration to all of us across the globe who have cheered her on, proving that nothing is impossible.”
