Firefighters free trapped driver after Pearl City rollover
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a crashed vehicle early Saturday morning in Pearl City.

The Honolulu Fire Department said crews responded at about 2:15 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash involving a flipped pickup truck at the intersection of Moanalua Road and Ho‘omalu Street.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to free the 53-year-old driver, who was then turned over to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
