Kaimuki cafe partners with nonprofit to promote sustainability
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – To celebrate the month of sustainability, an Oahu matcha business is partnering with a nonprofit to hold a giveaway to promote “Plastic Free July.”

Daily Whisk Matcha in Kaimuki and the nonprofit Bottles4College are encouraging customers to bring in their own reusable cups to reduce the thousands of single-use plastic cups used daily.
Those who bring their own cup will have a chance to win more than $260 worth of matcha supplies and ingredients.

The giveaway will include:
Anyone who enters the giveaway will receive a 15-cent discount on orders through December.
The nonprofit Bottles4College is led by Genshu Price, who recycles cans and bottles to help fund college scholarships for kids in Hawaii.
