Police conduct sex trafficking, prostitution-related searches in Aiea, Pearl City
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police conducted two separate search warrants in Aiea and Pearl City involving investigations into sex trafficking and prostitution-related offenses.

On Thursday, the Honolulu Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Division (NVD) Human Trafficking Unit (HTU) conducted the searches on Monday, June 22, and Wednesday, June 24.
On Monday, police said HTU, along with the Specialized Services Division (SSD), executed a search warrant on Pakalana Street in Aiea.
Investigators said they located multiple sex workers and offered them victim services and counseling resources.
Police seized $17,777 in cash.
On Wednesday, HTU, SSD and District 3 Crime Reduction Unit executed a search at a location on Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City.

Investigators located two sex workers, who were also offered victim services and counseling resources.
Police seized $3,828 in cash.
The department said both investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
“Human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation have no place in our community,” said Maj. Jerome Pacarro, NVD commander. “The Honolulu Police Department remains committed to identifying victims, connecting them with available resources and services, and holding those who exploit, facilitate, and profit from these crimes accountable. We will continue to make these investigations a priority and work with our law enforcement and community partners to protect vulnerable individuals and improve the safety of our communities.”
