HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A woman was seriously injured after a vehicle overturned on the H-1 Freeway near the University Avenue exit.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said crews responded to the crash at about 11:30 a.m.
EMS treated a 19-year-old woman at the scene and took her to a hospital in serious condition.

The crash caused traffic delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
