Police seek public help in identifying alleged armed robbery suspect

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an alleged armed robbery in Kalihi.

It happened on Friday at around 10:35 a.m. in the Kamehameha IV Road area.

According to HPD, a 54-year-old man was working at a residence and was approached by an unknown male suspect.

Police said the suspect allegedly brandished a handgun, demanded the victim’s personal property and threatened to shoot him.

Authorities said the suspect fled the area on a black-colored e-bike.

Police said the suspect is about 6 feet tall with a slim build, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a black ski mask.
