4th of July fireworks show to light up Waikiki for America’s 250th anniversary
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Waikiki will light up on July 4 with a massive fireworks show to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s founding.

The 10-minute display is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The barge will be stationed off central Waikiki between Halekulani and the Moana Surfrider. Viewers can watch from along Waikiki Beach, Kapiʻolani Park and Magic Island in addition to beachfront hotels and restaurants.

The show is sponsored by the Waikiki Improvement Association and Southwest Airlines.
Organizers said the event will help sustain Waikiki as Hawaiʻi’s premier visitor destination while creating memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
